There is a cost if one chooses to follow Jesus, to accept Him as your Lord & Savior. You must change, repent from many things you did/stop doing or perish. Some of the changes maybe rejecting certain friendships, stop visiting some places you used to go, stop doing some things you were doing.
Acts 3:19 (AMP) So repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, regret past sins] and return [to God—seek His purpose for your life], so that your sins may be wiped away [blotted out, completely erased], so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord [restoring you like a cool wind on a hot day].
There is a cost for not following Jesus also. There is no removal of sins. The law of sin & death over shadows you. There is no sacrifice of peace. Absolutely no peace with God! You are an enemy of God! You rejected the Prince Of Peace, Jesus Himself! Isaiah 57:21 (AMP) “There is no peace,” says my God, “for the wicked.” No peace is a great cost. Even death will not bring peace to the unsaved, for the terrors of Hell then the Lake of Fire bring forth even greater turmoil! Choose the Prince of Peace, Choose Life, Choose Jesus!!
Romans 5:1 (AMP) Therefore, since we have been justified [that is, acquitted of sin, declared blameless before God] by faith, [let us grasp the fact that] we have peace with God [and the joy of reconciliation with Him] through our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed).
God IS Good ALL The Time...
