DECEMBER 6TH 2000

Thine hand shall find out all thine enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee. Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thine anger: the Lord shall follow them up in His wrath, and the fire shall devour them. Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men. For they intend evil against thee; they imagined a mischievious device, which they are not able to perform. Therefore shalt thou make them turn their back, when thou shalt make ready thine arrows upon thy strings against the face of them. Be thou exaulted Lord, in Thine own strength: so we will sing and praise thy power.
Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against His anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision (and in supreme contempt He mocks them).
Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse; A blessing, if ye obey the commandmnets of the Lord your God, which I command you this day: And a curse, if you will not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in do season we reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore oppertunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul.
