FROM THE WATCHTOWER

IT IS NEARLY FINISHED

2nd Peter 3:1-5 This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in [both] which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance: That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour: Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as [they were] from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:

It is nearly finished! In Matthew 24:4-8 Jesus tells us Himself: “Take heed that no man deceive you.” “For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.” “And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all [these things] must come to pass, but the end is not yet.” “For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.” “All these [are] the beginning of sorrows.”

Take courage, be not troubled for as Born-again Christians these things must pass for each of us to be “transformed” into our glorified bodies and into the millennium. Birth pangs are evident everywhere around us. We are living in a “sliver” of time that will be the greatest time of revival, the greatest time of a harvest of souls, the greatest time of healings, and we must realize that this is “our” time. The time to share Jesus with others, the time to immerse ourselves in the Word of the Living God, immerse ourselves in the “spirit & truth” type of worship to our Lord and King. It is nearly finished, we must be bold, we must not waver, but we must put God’s business first in out lives. The time is NOW!! to standup, get out of the pew and fulfill the ministry and destiny that Father God planned for each of us before the foundations of the earth were laid!!

Ponder on this, if you will: 2nd Peter 3:9-10 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Jesus is coming back for us, He will NOT forsake us!! We must be NOT be slack, but ready, prepared; Study the Word, let the Holy Spirit lead and guide you through the Bible, “infill” your spirit with the Word, use it to overcome every obstacle that you face; use it as the Lord leads to give out to others to encourage, liftup and bring forth victory in their lives…Praise God!!! Glory to Jesus!!!
Remembering: The Lord shall come as a thief in the night. 1st Thessalonians 4:13-18 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive [and] remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Do NOT be deceived!! Jesus will NOT touch a foot on the earth when that wonderous/wonderful moment comes when the trumpet is blown and we are called ‘home” We WILL meet Jesus in the clouds. Be prepared, what will you be doing when the trumpet is blown? Are you looking for the “signs” of His returning? Are doing the business of the Kingdom of God/Or, are you pursuing your own “selfish” desires? I encourage you to chose this day whom you will serve; be NOT lukewarm with your walk with our Wonderful LORD, be hot for Him, or be cold!! Praise God..Praise God…Glory to Jesus..The Most High!!!

GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME…
